Start of fire at the Cristal brewery: two people slightly intoxicated

The fryers caught fire.

A little before noon, a fire broke out at the Cristal bar. The oil in the fryers ignited, emitting thick smoke.

The firefighters and the GRDF gas emergency service quickly intervened. More fear than harm for Christophe Barral and his team. However, the establishment was unable to accommodate its customers.

Two people aged 20 and 41, slightly poisoned by the fumes, were however transported to the Alès hospital for inspection.

In the afternoon, a company specialized in disinfection intervened to put the kitchen back in working order. "After a major cleaning, we will be able to resume. Tomorrow (Thursday, Editor's note), we will be able to provide normal service."
