The festival of maritime traditions recorded a large turnout on the quays of Sète, Saturday March 30.

Despite unfavorable weather conditions, notably because of the persistent sea wind, Escale à Sète continues to attract a considerable crowd to the city's quays. According to the organization, Saturday March 30 saw the passage of some 70,000 people to the festival site.

Waiting at the foot of the boats

A crowd which also explains the fact that there is a long wait – an hour on average – for those who wish to board the boats open to visitors. During its previous edition, the maritime traditions festival attracted nearly 450,000 people. We will know more at the start of next week on the attendance figures for this 2024 edition.
