Anticipating bad weather conditions, the large units invited for Stopover in Sète arrived in the port.

They got ahead. Most of the large sailing ships invited for Stopover in Sète are already moored between the quays of the République, Samary, Algiers and Morocco. Indeed, due to the deterioration of the weather at the start of the week, the crews preferred to anticipate their arrivals on the singular island rather than battle in the hollows and in the rain.

Thus the Pascual Flores, the Nao Victoria, El Galeón, the Stella polare, the Belle-Poule, the schooner Aran showed the end of their bow on Friday. At the start of the week, the Pandora, the Morgenster and La Grace had also made a notable entry into the canals.
