Ce vendredi 29 mars à 14 h avait lieu le défilé totémique au quai de la Marine.
At 2 p.m., tourists peacefully finished their meal on the terrace at the Quai de la Marine. If they were hoping for a peaceful digestion, it was a failure! Since the totemic parade came to shake them up with panache. At the head of the short procession, around fifteen musicians from the Doedelzaks group from the coast played the sound of their Flemish bagpipes.

An impressive beef
Behind them, no giants of Boulogne-sur-Mer because of the strong wind, but indeed the colossal ox of Mèze. The whole thing made restaurant customers get up and visitors from certain sailboats get off, coming closer on the road to admire the spectacle up close. So much so that the beast, led by eleven men, sometimes had difficulty making its way through the city's alleys.
Even more impressive, the “master” an ox rode on its back, doing a rodeo, while its mouth opened and closed with hubbub, perfectly accompanying the percussion.
