Un débrayage est prévu ce lundi 8 janvier, entre 6 h 45 et 8 h 45 sur le réseau Tango, qui va connaître de fortes perturbations.

While the transport operator in the Agglo de Nîmes Transdev anticipates major disruptions on the Tango network for this Monday January 8, between 6:45 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., the tension between unions and Agglo de Nîmes does not subside.

Inauguration canceled

The SNTU-CFDT union criticizes the boss of Nîmes Métropole, Franck Proust, in particular for refusing to sign a social pact even though the new public service delegation should be announced soon. And the affair continues to escalate. By way of a press release, the inter-union SNTU-CFDT, CGT, CFE-CGC indeed regretted, this Sunday, January 7, the cancellation of the presentation of the new buses, which was to be made on January 11 by Nîmes Métropole.

A missed opportunity for unions

For the inter-union, "the presentation of the new buses, emblems of the energy transition, by Mr. Franck Proust, president of Nîmes Métropole […] would have been an opportunity to demonstrate a bold political vision for public transport, in the presence of all employees dedicated to this public service mission and convinced, despite current difficulties, of a promising future for mobility.

This inauguration, canceled according to the inter-union, "due to the persistent conflict with the employees of Transdev Nîmes Mobilité", would have been a "possibility of resolving the dispute while honoring the history and heritage of employees engaged in improving working conditions, safety and welcoming users.

A missed opportunity to "progress towards a resolution of the crisis"

The inter-union insisting on the fact that this missed meeting represented "an opportunity to renew dialogue and move towards a resolution of the crisis", the unions conclude, displaying their "disappointment".
