Après avoir entonné leur chanson sur scène devant les supporters le samedi 6 avril à l’occasion des 90 ans du club, les jeunes Chanacois réitéreront leur performance, cette fois-ci sur la pelouse !
It’was anticipated but it’is now official! The students of the Marie-Rivier school choir, in Chanac, will be on the lawn of the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium, on Saturday April 27, 2024, for the Ligue 2 match between Saint-Étienne in Caen. Without a doubt, the Chaudron (nickname of the stadium) will be full to bursting, while the Stéphanois have a superb end to the season. The Chanacois will therefore sing their song Caudron, homage to the green people in front of more than 40 000 people, just before the start of the meeting.

An organized trip
If the atmosphere risks impressing them, the students aged 7 to 11 have already had a first warm-up, on Saturday April 6, when they sang in front of 5 000 supporters during the celebration of the club's 90th anniversary. The words pleased the public and, buoyed by this success, Jean-François Moulin's choir, accompanied by Guillaume Caparos, asked the directors to be able to sing on the lawn of the Chaudron. A request supported by groups of Saint-Etienne supporters and the legend of the club, Dominique Rocheteau, who is the godfather of the song.
This great experience will allow children to finalize their video clip, with superb images on the football field. And to keep an indelible trace of it.
The Greens of Margeride, a Lozerian association which brings together fans of AS Saint-Étienne, are organizing a bus trip for this match. Departure will be from Grandrieu at 10 a.m. and from Langogne at 10:30 a.m. (match at 3 p.m.). Interested people should register quickly to reserve their place (06 76 24 09 08 or 06 89 35 44 62).
