Swimming: Sétoise Elena Sessa shines like gold in the Montpellier pool

Cinq Sétois… for five podiums at the finish. And the best performance was achieved by Elena Sessa, who won two gold medals in the 50 meter butterfly "14-15 years" and the 100 meter swim free "14-15 years".

For his part, Léo Coudeville took the second step of the podium, in the 1,500 meter freestyle "14-18 years", while Justine Picard and Lilou Sessa won the medal bronze, respectively in the 1,500 meter freestyle and the 50 meter butterfly.

Records

Between the five of them, the Sète swimmers will have participated in eight A finals, nine B finals and four C finals. And the good performances did not stop there since Justine Picard broke the record of the 1,500 meter freestyle club in 18’23’’84 (record she held in 18’34’’14 since 2023). Elena Sessa also took the club record "14 years" 100 meter freestyle in 1’01’’29 (held by Carmen Fafet in 1’01’’78 since 2011).
