Table tennis: a new match between Alexis and Félix Lebrun could happen very quickly, we explain why

While observers are barely recovering from the final of the French Championships, Alexis and Félix Lebrun could soon find themselves in a duel which already promises to be an anthological one.

You already miss the final of the French Championships. Sometimes you think about these historical points, these "planes" thrown by Alexis on Félix ? Well know that it could very quickly happen again, and we will explain to you why.

Back on the WTT circuit after a few days of break following the end of the French Championships, the two brothers are both registered for the WTT Champions in Incheon, a tournament bringing together the 32 best players and best players in the world.

Félix (5th) and Alexis (22nd) are obviously in the game. And the debut was successful in the 1/16th final, since they respectively dismissed the Dane Anders Lind (32nd in the world) 3-1, and the Taiwanese Kao Cheng-Jui (31st) 3 -1.

A potential duel in the 1/4 finals

The two brothers thus qualified for the 1/8th final. Félix will be pitted against world number 11, the German Dimitrij Ovtcharov, while Alexis will have to battle against the Brazilian Hugo Calderano, ranked 8th. In a scenario where both brothers advance, they would find themselves in the quarter-finals, since they are both in the same part of the table.

Alexis will play his round of 16 this Friday at 3:35 a.m. (French time) and Félix at 5:35 a.m.
