Ce samedi 18 mai, les Alésiens pourront découvrir des textes déclamés de l'écrivain cévenol Jean-Pierre Chabrol, dans la médiathèque Daudet à Alès.

This Saturday, at 10 a.m., in the Alphonse-Daudet media library in Alès, the AVF association in Alès, in partnership with the rsquo;Académie Cévenole, the Sauramps bookstore and Radio Grille Ouverte, will host a reading of texts by Jean-Pierre Chabrol : maquisard, communard, madman of God, Cévenol. This reading, by illustrating it, is a continuation of the conference presented, in this same place, on March 9 by Michel Boissard on his biography entitled Jean-Pierre Chabrol le rebel.
A work built on four seasons: the season of the maquisard, the season of the communard, then that of the Camisard, finally that of the Cévenol. These seasons overlap, sometimes overlapping each other. chronologically? but also in terms of major works and biographical characters. There are several Chabrols in the French literary landscape and it is this richness, this diversity, and the brilliance of this literature that we invite you to come and discover or rediscover, with texts chosen by Michel Boissard, Annie Corbier and Denis Durier.
