The anger of farmers will reach Gard on Friday January 26 with a demonstration in Nîmes

The increase in costs and the stability of the sales price of production have put farmers already faced with other constraints in great financial difficulty.

This Saturday, January 20, the prefect of Gard Jérôme Bonet welcomed union representatives from the agricultural world in a context of anger which is increasing with demonstrations which affect Occitanie this week. Friday January 26, it is Nîmes which will serve as the framework for this malaise of an entire profession which would like to make a decent living from its productions.

Questioned by Midi Libre, the president of the FDSEA du Gard, David Sève, said he was very worried: "The uneasiness is deeper. Expenses increased by 30 to 40% while our products were sold at the same price. This has put many Gard farmers in financial difficulty. The FDSEA must probably determine next Monday which mode of action will be chosen on Friday January 26. There will probably be a long parade of tractors…
