The Ascent of Val d’Enfer on foot or by bike is postponed due to Covid

Several volunteers, essential to the smooth running of the event planned for Sunday, August 25, are not available due to Covid contamination.

Scheduled for Sunday morning, August 25, starting from Saint-Léger-de-Peyre, the Ascension du Val d'Enfer, a cycling and walking race, will not be able to take place as initially planned, due to the unavailability of volunteers essential to the organization, due to Covid.

The organizing club Team GVF is considering a postponement until the end of the year to maintain this rural sporting event. The administrative deadline for prefectural declaration allows us to consider organizing it during the All Saints' Day holidays.

The Tamburlini Souvenir

The Tamburlini Souvenir trophy, usually awarded to the first Lozère cyclist by its instigator Privat Rousset, will be awarded at a later date.

The organizers thank the communities and private partners for their understanding and support in postponing the event.
