This Sunday, May 12, in their Regional 1 championship, the Lozériens won 6 goals to 1 on the pitch of the Association Vergongheon-Arvant.

For their 20th day of the championship, this Sunday May 12, 2024, the players of the Entente Nord Lozère (ENL) traveled to Haute-Loire to the Association’ ;nbsp;Vergongheon-Arvant. The ENL returns home with a 6-1 success and the 3 points of victory, enough to consolidate its place on the podium.

Despite a forced rest period due to the postponement of the match, the Lozériens were able to get off to a good start and take the match from the right end to continue their series of victories in this final stretch of the season. The numerous absences within the workforce did not worry the
either Enelists who have surpassed the Vergongheonnais in all areas of play.

3 to 0 at the break

In the first period, Lilian Condon's men did not change their good habits and entered the match very strongly. From the 10th minute of play, the ENL’s attack in great shape broke the local defense thanks to a goal from Mathis Mazaudier (1-0). This goal unleashes the Lozériens who will quickly project themselves forward and score two goals in less than minutes, signed Bastien Ruat (2-0) and again Mathis Mazaudier (3-0). The Enelistes were very solid defensively throughout the first half. The two teams return to the locker room with a score of 3 at
0 with a clear domination of the Lozériens.

Back on the pitch, the Entente Nord Lozère continues to assert its domination. After Mathis Mazaudier, it’s the turn of Bastien Ruat to score a double in the 55th minute of play (4-0). A blow to the head of the Vergongheonnais, who conceded a 5th goal a few minutes later by Paulin Bigot (5-0). The local team did not give up, however, and saved their honor shortly after (5-1). But the Lozériens are not done and Arthur Brugeron drives home the point 10 minutes from the end of the match (6-1).

L’ENL imposes itself in style and builds up its confidence before facing Vallée de l’Authre in the Coupe du Cantal, next weekend.
