Puisqu’il est devenu payant cette année, le Fise a vu son affluence baisser de moitié tout en augmentant la qualité de son spectacle sportif.

The 27th edition of Fise Montpellier concluded with one last dance, that of Matthias Dandois, the French BMX Flatland legend. And the large crowd installed in front of the stage on the bank of the Lez did not miss this meeting filled with emotion where the nine-time world champion took an unexpected second place, buoyed by an exceptional atmosphere. nbsp;: "I lived a dream, endings like that only exist in films, he whispered after the finale. All those who experienced this timeless moment to complete this Fise 2024, for the first time paying at the entrance, were left speechless. Like local star Alex Jumelin who has experienced every edition since 1997: "It’s a rebirth for the festival, five exceptional days. This 10 euro ticket filtered the spectators, which made it possible to have a better quality event with more fluidity. It was still packed with the right people. I loved this Fise, the best we have ever experienced. Bravo to Hurricane group. It makes you want to do it again 27."

According to the organizers who did not wish to communicate the number of places sold, the festival brought together 300,000 spectators, half as many as last year during the last free edition. A decline in attendance which did not prevent us from once again attending a great show in Montpellier. Looking forward to 2025.
