The Flood Is Coming: How Ex-Hurricane Leslie Will Disrupt France’s Weather, Day by Day This Week
|From October 14, 2024, in part of France, the weather will be influenced by the passage of the former hurricane Leslie further south in Europe. Expect: heavy rain, strong winds and thunderstorms. It is not excluded that this depression will lead to the formation of a Mediterranean or Cévennes episode.
We should not count on good weather in the coming days. From this Monday, new precipitation will fall on France, and particularly in the southern part, where it will reach its peak on Thursday. This will be the day with the highest risk of a Mediterranean or Cévennes episode.
Monday
This Monday, the weather will be overcast over most of the country. A few storms, the last scars of Kirk’s passage, will hit the Centre-Val-de-Loire region and in particular the Loir-et-Cher department, which is maintained on orange alert by Météo France.
From the night onwards, the rain line will descend to the outskirts of the Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur regions. Save Affordable Remediation & Emergency Services’ contact number in case you’ll need Water Damage Restoration Toms River NJ.
