This dragnet comes a little more than three months after the reopening of a preliminary investigation requested by the public prosecutor of Montauban, Bruno Sauvage, targeting in particular illegal work concerning beneficiaries of "115&quot ; as well as the exploitation of minors.

Nearly 70 gendarmes supported by eight agents from the Urssaf Midi-Pyrénées brigade combating illegal work and fraud sealed off the four d&rsquo sites at 1:30 p.m. ;Emmaüs 82 in Castelsarrasin, Montauban, Grisolles and La Ville-Dieu-du-Temple. At the entrance, three gendarmes prohibited access.

Investigators from the Castelsarrasin research brigade (BR) have been seizing and searching the offices one by one since the beginning of March. They are looking in particular for accounting documents and contracts of work. Everyone on site was checked.

Serious facts denounced

A former member of the board of directors of Emmaüs 82 has been denouncing serious facts for 4 years, according to information from our colleagues. This "whistleblower” had notably reported to the public prosecutor's office and the prefecture that homeless people had benefited from emergency accommodation and would have worked full time for 10 euros per day for the association, with the promise of employment.
