The game festival, an invitation to come and play with your family at the multicultural room in Bagnols-sur-Cèze

Le personnel de la médiathèque et de la ludothèque, l’élue Carine Boissel, ont préparé une édition de la fête du jeu avec des clins d’œil aux J.O. C.B.

La ludothèque municipale de Bagnols-sur-Cèze organise une grande fête du jeu gratuite samedi 25 mai à la salle multiculturelle de Bagnols-sur-Cèze.

Last year, a thousand players from all generations came to the multicultural room of Bagnols-sur-Cèze to participate in the game festival led by the municipal toy library and supported by the media library and the city. "We hope to do even better this year !" smiles Carine Boissel, municipal councilor responsible for children and youth.

For this 2024 edition, the year of the Paris Olympic Games, the theme chosen is of course sports. And the exterior of the multicultural room lends itself well to organizing outdoor activities. Giant human table football (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), football, demonstration dance, nerf shooting, disabled sports tests, boxing volleyball, collective dancing with a video game, basketball or even relay races should attract the most athletic. The essential inflatable structure, loaned by the festival committee, will also be there.

Inside, in a multicultural room decorated by the L’Effect stylish association which will offer creative workshops, different fun centers will be installed: for video games , motor skills, construction games, wooden or board, … with the presence of partners. Everyone will find something to have fun there. Even the senior area participates in this intergenerational meeting by coming to supervise the large wooden games. "We can spend the day there, there will be food -trucks" specifies the elected official from Bagnolais.

"It’s a party for all ages, family friendly. Our goal is to have children and parents play together" explains Cécile Petit, leisure and multimedia manager at the media library. A big party which will have its surprise mascot, to discover on May 25.
