L'incroyable tournée du handball était de passage à Lille. FFHandball

While the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be launched in a few months, the French handball federation is organizing a tour in France to introduce people to the different practices of "hand" . Starting this Thursday, March 14 and lasting three days, an immersive experience is offered to Montpellier residents.

Hand for four, HandFit, HandFauteuil or even BabyHand, the FFHandball is coming to Montpellier for a three-day event on the theme of sport. On a traveling tour in the heart of French cities in the run-up to the Olympic Games, the federation's teams will meet in Montpellier from Thursday March 14 to Saturday March 16, 2024.

For the occasion, the square in front of the Town Hall will be transformed into a veritable temple of handball through an event open to all and completely free. &quot ;Health, well-being, pleasure, one-day or every weekend competition, sporting challenge in business or club, handball meets all the needs for a more sporty society and in which sport is a vector of better living together", assures Mickaël Boutines, President of the Ligue Occitanie.

A completely free event

These three days will make it possible to introduce handballs to all ages and to try HandFauteuil for example, a practice of adapted handball mixing people with disabilities on the field and the valid ones. On the program: entertainment areas with four-a-side handball courts, digital wall, radar shooting, handbungy and even e-sport. And four handball practices: Hand 4, HandFit, HandFauteuil and BabyHand.

Also, with the "Continents Trophy" which is currently being played at the Montpellier Arena, the French Handball team and its high-level athletes could make a trip to the event. < /p> Practical information: Thursday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 1 Place Georges Frêche (City Hall), 34000 Montpellier.
