Things move with Johnny Montreuil

There is rockabilly, swamp blues, swing, and lots of rhythms in Johnny Montreuil's music this Thursday at Rockstore at 8:30 p.m. Moustache and sideburns clearly visible, the artist from the Paris region grabs the guitar or the double bass, but especially the microphone to sing about the suburbs, the outskirts, the working-class neighborhoods. The young 28-year-old American multi-instrumentalist bluesman will be alone on stage with his guitar. A situation that does not scare him. The American, who was raised on gospel from a young age, has been knighted by the greatest bluesmen such as Keb' Mo' or Taj Mahal, ensuring the opening acts for the latter. In another style, the Dübz Brothers, aka the twins Raphael and Sylvain Dubert, play the same evening at 8:30 p.m. at the Léo Malet Cultural Center in Mireval. The stars, Morcheeba

The last IG 2024 concert is that of Morcheeba in 8:30 p.m., Saturday at the Berlioz Opera. So much the better. The trip hop of the famous British group will sound good. Between the enveloping tempo, the fluid electronic sounds, bathed in a mixture of soul, jazz and hip-hop, and the vocals of Skye Edwards, Morcheeba's sound is quite recognizable.
