Established for 20 years in Saint-Affrique and originally from the Sorgue Valley, this professional leather worker has been responsible and trainer for a leather goods training center in the heart of Saint-Affrique since 2017.

A workshop full of machines

In her workshop with the scent of leather and glue, filled with machines, boxes of models, skins and tools, she details her journey: "I went to a leather goods school in Graulhet when I was 16. Then I worked in different companies, in France and Belgium for big names, Torrente, Yves Saint-Laurent… and in other smaller and artisanal structures".

Myriam Romiguier specifies: "I welcome all types of audiences in my training center, men and women from 18 to 60 years old, for example curious people who want an introductory course where they can make a pair of sandals, a bag, a knife case or even a purse. These courses to discover leather and the basics of work last from one day to five days. I also receive schoolchildren and people who wish to transform an accessory or a vintage bag.
