The Lozère Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes meetings to promote business

Les "Rencontres d’affaires : des rencontres à faire !" se dérouleront le mardi 25 juin 2024, à l’espace événements Georges-Frêche.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Lozère continues to innovate with a new event scheduled for Tuesday June 25, 2024. It will be the "Meetings ;business: meetings to meet!”, at the Georges-Frêche events space. Business will occupy a central place there, while this "is in a period of slack", explains Thierry Julier, the president of the bedroom. "We invite professionals from all sectors of activity, buyers or suppliers, to come and meet to talk business", he continues.

A "lively"afternoon

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the "speed meeting" of 15 minutes will follow in a "living" room. "We didn’want any stands, we want things to move", specifies Cindy Guignard, the director. To make quick meetings smooth, the CCI has launched a platform that allows registrants to make appointments. Moreover, a participant can position themselves as a buyer (express their needs) or supplier (present their offer of services), or both.

The registration fee for a supplier is 80 euros; a buyer, it’s free. Companies from the construction sector, public buyers (community, State, etc.), young companies less than three years old are expected to improve their notoriety and visibility, companies linked to food , business service and advice, etc. The agricultural sector also plays a role in the economy of the department.

Several lectures

Other highlights of the event are the conferences, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. They will address current themes such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and will be coupled with individual meetings with Google coaches. Finally, a round table, from 5 to 6 p.m., will bring together interested parties and people working on AI to provide advice on its beneficial use.
