The latest-standard, PRM-accessible facility was built on Place Gabriel Péri in Frontignan.

The brand new children's playground, located on Place Gabriel-Péri in Frontignan, in the Peyrade district, was inaugurated this Tuesday by Mayor Michel Arrouy, who was, for the occasion, surrounded by many elected officials.

Latest safety standards

This space meets the latest safety standards and the needs expressed by residents during the citizen consultation conducted by the municipality. It includes: a spiral slide accessible from 3 years old and partly to people with reduced mobility (PRM), including a porthole, a ladder, a fun panel, an interactive shop-type game, suspended seats and bars; a suspension bridge about 1.50 m long, accessible from 2 years old, including small platforms above the ground, a rope for a "handrail" on either side of the bridge.

Children can also have fun on a spring-loaded play area with seats from 2 years old that can accommodate 4 children at the same time; two cabins with seats for children aged 1 and over, made up of 5 to 6 play panels, a tunnel between 1 and 1.20 m, a vertical buoy, a porthole; a spring-loaded car approximately 1.84 m long, accessible from 2 years old, decorated with elements to stimulate children's touch and sight.
