The Salindres factory has been shut down since Friday March 8 due to an electrical fault

 The Solvay and Axens sites are at a standstill, leaving nearly 500 employees in limbo. 

The whole village is talking. No more noise comes from the walls of the Salindres eco-industrial center!

The cause, a major power supply fault that occurred during the storm Friday evening which brought the site to a complete halt.< /p>

The power supply would have restarted on Saturday and then would have broken down again on Sunday. Since then, the technicians have been busy and no one answers the phone at the Axens site. 

The financial losses are obviously considerable and great uncertainty hangs over the fate of the employees, more than 500 people, who do not know how this unprecedented situation will be handled.
