This Saturday, August 31, the representative of the international Jewish collective for a ceasefire in Gaza, spoke, reaffirming that she refuses that their "personal and intimate" history, that of anti-Semitism, be used in their name to legitimize a "genocide". “The situation is urgent”, the association recalls, stressing that Palestinian civilians are “knowingly targeted”, recalling “the relentlessness”, the deaths by the thousands. The speeches concluded with slogans chanted in unison.
