The disaster, first visible as black smoke, broke out around 8 p.m. this Thursday, July 3, on the roof terrace of an apartment near the Caisse d  rsquo;Épargne, boulevard de la Capelle in Millau. The firefighters, who deployed the large ladder, quickly brought it under control.

A fire started, releasing thick black smoke, broke out this Thursday, July 4 around 8 p.m. on the roof terrace of a apartment in a three-story building next to that of the Caisse d’Épargne on Boulevard de la Capelle in Millau. The firefighters engaged two vehicles (a pump truck and the large ladder).

It was necessary to quickly control the start of the disaster and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings. The services of Enedis and GrDf also intervened. National and municipal police officers secured the surrounding areas and temporarily blocked automobile traffic.
