Saturday May 4, from 9:30 a.m. on the banks of the Gardon, the opening of the photographic exhibition "the tasty words of the PAT", series of  22 portraits of residents of the Alès agglomeration, illustrate this shared concern, to eat better to live better, carried by the territorial food program (PAT) initiated in 2019.

Farmers, restaurateurs, but also athletes, dietitians, a hip-hop dancer, social workers, a baker, a footballer…
Saturday May 4, during the opening, on the banks of the Gardon, as part of the Nature and Rural Day, the exhibition by photographer Florent Gardin will demonstrate the involvement of these actors within the Territorial Food Project (PAT).

The terroir makes the character and here, from the plains of Gardon to the Cévennes, despite a great diversity of landscapes, there is clearly the same awareness about eating better

In images, this inventory at Prévert, from Génolhac to Vézénobres, from Saint-Julien-les-Rosiers to Saint-Jean-du-Gard, embodies this vast initiative carried out by the agglomeration of ;rsquo;Alès. With a dual objective, to promote quality food and virtuous agriculture that Sylvain André, community advisor and coordinator of the PAT, shows. But also to read the portrait of residents who " work to eat better and produce better ", details Marion Morin , project manager, while nearly 60 partners are now involved in this approach launched in 2019 by the president of the community Christophe Rivenq.
" The terroir makes the character and here, from the plains of Gardon to the Cévennes, despite a great diversity of landscapes, it is clearly the same awareness about eating better that the people we met testified to, remembers Florent Gardin. On this eclectic panel of 22 portraits, we find this concern: we are what we eat. With the desire to reestablish the link between producers and consumers. "
Boris Chapon, Sylvain Ozil, Cécile Joffart, Jeffrey Assoumi, Jawad Frikah, Séverine Galzenati, Delphine Bouziges… " Here they are actors engaged in the dynamics of’ network work ", concludes Marion Morin, while the agglomeration of Alès thus continues the application of the Egalim law which wants that’ at least 50% of " sustainable and quality products ", including at least 20% organic products, are served in collective catering.
