The magnificent five-masted ship, Club Med 2, arrived in Sète at midday.
It is just as big as the Azamara Quest, which stopped off in Sète last week, but the cruise ship Club Med 2 is different in that it is not a floating building but a magnificent sailboat.
350 passengers on board
The five-masted ship arrived from Nice at midday – a little late, as it had been scheduled for early morning – in the port of Sète and then moored along the quay of Algiers. The white-hulled ship, 180 m long, making it the largest five-masted sailing ship in the world, carries around 350 people, looked after by 200 crew members. It leaves Sète at 6 p.m. to reach Barcelona.
