This Saturday, April 27, three children aged 13, 11 and 8 were taken off a Lille-Rennes TGV at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle (Paris) and taken care of by the forces of the Lille-Rennes TGV. rsquo;order. The reason ? Equipped with tickets, the children were however not registered in the on-board support program and therefore traveled alone.

Their Lille-Rennes journey was suddenly interrupted at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle. Three children aged 8, 11 and 13 were due to join their respective mothers in Rennes this Saturday April 27. However, considered as "illandestine" by the SNCF, they were disembarked at Roissy and taken care of by the police.

Warned by the authorities, the parents were able to come and collect them.

But what happened?

Used to joining their mother in Rennes from Lille during the school holidays, Louis (13 years old), Jeanne (11 years old) and Oléa (8 years old) boarded the train as part of the program "Junior et Cie". This service allows children traveling alone to be accompanied by chaperones throughout their journey.

But that day, the parents arrived "only 3 minutes before the departure of TGV 9838 while it is obligatory for this service to arrive at least 1 hour before the departure of the train to ensure good and secure care of children& ;quot;, explains SNCF to our colleagues at BFMTV.

Parents refute accusations

For the parents present at the departure of the train, the SNCF is also at fault. Although they arrived late, so did the train. The parents therefore brought their children on board: "I was able to report their presence to the controller, their ticket was validated. I wanted to record them, but there were too many people and a lot of tension", argues the ;rsquo;one of them with La Voix du Nord.

If "the conditions to guarantee the safety of the child have unfortunately not been met by the parents" as SNCF states, "Why did you let the children go ?", se he asks.

The father filed complaints online and filed a lawsuit against the railway company.
