Three men aged 16, 18 and 19 indicted in Bagnols-sur-Cèze for theft, possession and transport of weapons

Les trois hommes ont été entendus suite à un cambriolage où une quarantaine d'armes avait été volées, fin janvier.

During a burglary committed at the end of January 2024 in an apartment in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, numerous weapons were stolen, including 5 in order but 32 undeclared.

Weapons stolen and resold

One of these weapons was then discovered by the Bollène gendarmerie at the home of a young man aged 16. Placed in police custody, he admitted having committed the theft of the object, in the company of another 18-year-old man. The latter, during his arrest, admitted the offenses of burglary in a meeting, possession and transfer of weapons stolen from the apartment (around 14 weapons stolen and resold at a narcotics resale point in the city).

Videos found on phone

The exploitation of his phone showed videos of him shooting in the woods with another person. This 19-year-old individual, when questioned in turn, denied having participated in the theft, but admitted to having fired the stolen weapons. However, no weapon was discovered during the searches.

The minor was released with a summons by a judicial police officer (COPJ). The third thief, aged 19, was released without further action. Finally, the 18-year-old was referred this Wednesday, February 14 and placed under judicial supervision.
