Two arrests for carrying a weapon and six people evacuated to hospital

At the Alès feria, the day and evening of this Friday, May 10, made extensive use of the police.

"'Yesterday (Friday, Editor's note) was busy. The crowd is estimated at 45,000 people, reports Marian Mirabello, responsible for security in the city of Alès. This Friday, the security teams had prepared for a lively day and evening, and were anticipating, in the same way, those of this Saturday. On the medical side, there were 19 cases of treatment, including six evacuations
at the hospital center. On the security side, ten cases concerned alcohol and narcotics.

Fight, touching of a minor

A fight also broke out, leading to the evacuation of one of the people involved to the emergency room for a broken collarbone. Two arrests, one carried out by the national police, the other by the municipal police, concerned an offense of carrying a weapon. Sexual touching of a 17-year-old minor was also reported. One positive point, however, should be noted: there was no evacuation of injured people during the encierros on Friday.
