Two road accidents in Saint-Gal and Les Salelles this Wednesday, August 7, three people injured

In the morning, two road accidents occurred, each time with only one car involved.

A 20-year-old man left the road on the RD3, at a place called Fontbonne, in Saint-Gal, this Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 8 a.m. ;15. The only person involved, the driver of the vehicle, who suffered from back and rib pain, was treated by the Rieutort-de-Randon firefighters and evacuated to Mende hospital. According to initial information, he felt unwell or lost control of his vehicle.

A little later in the morning, at 9:40 a.m., it was in Salelles that the firefighters from Chanac, Marvejols and Chirac went to rescue a lady from 41 year old and his 13 year old daughter, victims of a road accident on the RN88, just after the Romardiès roundabout. The driver lost control of her car, probably due to the heavy rain at the time, before ending up in a pillar of the bridge. Injured in the back and neck, the two victims were evacuated to Mende hospital for additional examinations.
