Cette année encore, la Green Team fait honneur à son nom et se mobilise pour la planète au travers de plusieurs actions.

Ecology being one of the pillars of the mission-driven society, from April 22 to June 8, Usam Nîmes Gard is committed to an ecological initiative ambitious project called Operation Green Team, Green Planet. This program aims to raise awareness among players, licensees, partners and supporters of environmental issues, while embodying its commitment to the planet.

The environment, a priority

The logo of the operation, represented by a green handball with an earth motif, demonstrates the commitment of Usam Nîmes to the environment. This is about affirming the primary vocation of the club, handball, while emphasizing the importance of ecological issues. These dates, from April 22 to June 8, have been carefully chosen for their symbolism: the launch coincides with World Earth Day which will take place among the vineyards of Costières de Nîmes in Caissargues , while the closing will take place during World Oceans Day at the Seaquarium of Grau-du-Roi.

For David Tebib, president of the Nîmes club, "the’objective is to carry out local actions with a significant impact. But what we do is also and above all aimed at young people", he says. As the first sports club in the country to become a mission-driven company last December, Usam Nîmes places the environment among its priorities.
