Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe suffered a heavy fall in the final of the Circuit Het Nieuwsblad on Saturday.
The runner from the Soudal-Quick Step team, however, got up after being caught in a fall with Kasper Asgreen, also involving his compatriot Florian Sénéchal, visibly injured in his collarbone.

According to images from Belgian television, the three runners abandoned.
"It's okay, I'll look at what I have tonight, but it looks okay. I didn't understand anything, it happened suddenly. I'm disappointed because I had good legs. I'm motivated, the season is just starting, the runner told RMC Sport after the race.
Alaphilippe is having a complicated week after being strongly criticized by his manager at Soudal, Patrick Lefevere.
The Slovenian from Jumbo-Visma, Jan Tratnik (34 years old) won the race, easily beating the German Nils Politt (UAE Emirates) in the sprint. The triumph is total for the Dutch team with Wout Van Aert 3rd.
