L’Héraultais Victor Koretzky s’est adjugé le short-track à Araxa (Brésil) en Coupe du monde, ce samedi 20 avril.

Victor Koretzky had announced that his program for the season would be carefully planned to best prepare for the Olympic Games this summer in Paris (July 26 – August 11). After his fourth place in Mairipora (Brazil) last week, the Héraultais won his first World Cup victory this season on his second objective of the year: the stage of Araxa, still in Brazil.

The native of Béziers (29 years old) won the short track this Saturday April 20. The Frenchman caught up with the American Christopher Blevins in the last few hundred meters before finishing in a sprint. The other Habs, Jordan Sarrou, finished 4th.

Next race for Koretzky, the Nove Mesto stage (Czech Republic) on the weekend of May 25-26.
