Alexis Lebrun s'est imposé face à son petit frère Félix (4-2), samedi 20 janvier lors des quarts de finale du Top 16 européen, lors d'un match très relevé entre les deux Montpelliérains.

Félix, eighth in the world, will still not have beaten his big brother Alexis (23rd) in an official match. Opposed in the quarter-finals of the European Top 16, bringing together the 16 best players in Europe in Montreux, the Montpellier brothers put on a great show, which the eldest Alexis won after six hooked sleeves. 

Thanks to this success, the 20-year-old world number 23 qualified for the semi-finals of the competition during which he will face the world number 19, the Swede Truls Moregard, winner of his quarter without playing due to his opponent's forfeit.

Félix Lebrun had started well

In this match in which the spectacular exchanges did not wait very long to arrive, Félix Lebrun (17 years old) nevertheless won the first round after a big fight (11- 8).

But Alexis Lebrun (20 years old) did not give up, inflicting an 11-3 to equalize then winning the two sets after 11-7 then 11-9.&amp ;nbsp;

Félix Lebrun still didn't give up, regaining a set again (11-5), before finally giving in in the sixth round (11-9), falling to the ground, like his big brother.
