Zelensky evokes a peace summit in Switzerland, wants the presence of China

Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday a plan for an international peace conference in Switzerland to end the conflict triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, expressing the hope that China is participating.

“We are open to participation in this peace summit by all countries that respect our sovereignty and territorial integrity”, the Ukrainian president said at a press conference in Bern.

Switzerland will host this conference, preparations for which will begin on Tuesday, said the President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd.

kyiv says it shot down two of the most important Russian command planes

The armies of Kiev would have, on January 14, succeeded in shooting down a Beriev A-50 and fatally damaging an Il-22, two of the most expensive and valuable Russian command planes, over the sea d'Azov.

Kyiv Independentclaims that an A-50 was shot down “immediately after taking up service in the Kyrylivka region of Zaporizhzhia” in southern Ukraine. The shootdown reportedly took place just 10 minutes after the Il-22 was hit.

Germany is preparing for an attack from Russia
