Water games, sports activities, inflatable structures…: in Montpellier, swimming pools are celebrating

Cet été, les piscines de la Métropole proposent de nombreuses activités dans le cadre de la 11e édition des piscines en fête. Jusqu’au 28 août, vous avez encore le temps de vous y rendre.

Let's go to the water! On the occasion of the 11th edition of the “pool party” project, the Montpellier Metropolis is offering a series of free activities for all audiences. From August 5 to 28, five swimming pools are on the program:

Piscine Les Néréides (Lattes) from August 5 to 7 Piscine Olympique Angelotti (Antigone district) from August 12 to 14 Piscine Marcel Spilliaert (Chamberte district) on August 19 and 20 Christine Caron swimming pool (Castelnau-le-Lez) on August 22 and 23 Héraclès swimming pool (Saint-Brès) from August 26 to 28

With the exception of the Angelotti Olympic swimming pool, whose schedule of activities will be proposed later, the program is as follows:

Water activities:

Aquapaddle: 11:00 a.m. 15 minutes Circuit training: 12:00 a.m. Aquabike: 12:00 a.m. 45 minutes Aquagym: 13:00 a.m. 30 minutes Course inflatable: 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Land activities: archery, balance games and motor skills course (11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.).

The Olympic Games set the tone

This edition of the “pool party” is inspired by the theme of the Olympic Games. Small Olympics and table tennis or badminton tournaments are planned, as well as a treasure hunt for children from 6 years old, on the last day of each session. and daily "challenges" such as not dropping inflatable Olympic flames.

Open to everyone with no age limit, the activities are supervised by Yasmeen Boukhari, Grégoire Deboom, Miguel Ferreira, Gaël Riou, Lucie Miramond and Jibril Bensaid, lifeguards from the Montpellier Metropolitan Area.

All activities are free subject to payment of the fee entrance to the swimming pool, free for children from 0 to 3 years old. Reservations are made on site. Tel.: 04 67 13 60 00
