“We feel completely humiliated”: parents suffer a wave of cyberharassment in reaction to their baby’s first name

The parents of a baby born on the 1st day of the year in Saint-Malo, Brittany, are the target of mockery and insults on social networks because of the first name they have. #39;they chose to give it to him. 

The joy of giving birth to the first baby of the year in Saint-Malo (Ile-et-Vilaine) this Monday, January 1st shortly after midnight quickly turned into a nightmare for these parents.

While Ouest France announced the birth of little Kaymronne in its columns, the infant's parents were the target of numerous mockery on social networks, where the ;#39;article was relayed, about the chosen first name and its spelling. Kaymronne is described as "poor kid" because of his "asshole name" and his "step-up" parents, accused of "mistreatment". 

"Dog's first name, cassos"

Interviewed by BFMTV, Johnny and Stessy, the parents of the newborn, explained that they had transformed the first name so that it began by the letter K, as for their two little girls, baptized Kayla and Kenzianne.

"We were told that it was the name of a dog, of cassos and so on… It's very heavy, we should be happy right now and in fact everyone is making fun of us,” laments the mother. "We feel completely humiliated". 

The parents "disgusted" by these hateful reactions asked the daily to delete its publications on social networks. They also indicated that they could take certain Internet users to court if the insults continued.
