Weather alert: Millau public parks and gardens closed to the public from this Thursday midday and for the duration of the bad weather

The closure of Millau's parks, gardens, squares and cemeteries is confirmed from this Thursday, October 17. 

The orange storm warning active in the department has just had a practical consequence in Millau this Thursday noon. Indeed, the City has just announced that at “the request of the Aveyron Prefecture, the parks, gardens, squares, gathering or play areas and cemeteries of Millau are closed to the public this Thursday, October 17 and for the entire duration of the bad weather"

Cemeteries also affected 

A very understandable precautionary principle " in order to ensure the safety of users due to the weather conditions forecast."  This will concern, in particular, the Victoire park, the station park, the gardens of the Hôtel de Ville, the Maladrerie park as well as the Egalité and Troussit cemeteries. 

The previous decision to close Millau parks and gardens due to weather risks dates back to August 13.
