The Medieval Festival in Vic-la-Gardiole
The town of Vic-la-Gardiole is organizing its Medieval Festival 2024 on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September. Craftsmen, armed troops, medieval dances, catering, old games, storytellers, pony rides, old carousels, balèti are on the program.
Sunday 8 September:opening from 9am, knighthood at 10:30am, all day initiations to combat, traditional dances, life in the Middle Ages by Lord Gauthier de Hisk; medieval market, artisans of heart and hands, more than 35 stalls (jewelry, toys, soaps, cosmetics, armor, knives, leathers, etc.); troops and armed men, medieval camp, combat, minting of coins, initiation to medieval weapons; traditional dances with the group “Sainte-Léocadie” from Vic; catering, food trades…

Festival Jazz After Beach
Marta Project and the Domaine Saint-André du 3, route de Marseillan in Mèze, present Sunday, September 8 at 6 p.m., to close the season, three big names in gypsy jazz in France: Thomas Kretzschmar on violin, Steeve Laffont on guitar and Dominique Di Piazza on bass. To accompany this distinguished trio in the magnificent Domaine, wines from the estate and platters of charcuterie or cheese or mixed meats prepared by a caterer from the Sète market. Jean Hugo Exhibition at the Paul Valéry Museum
The Paul Valéry Museum on rue François-Desnoyer is hosting until Sunday, November 3, Jean Hugo's exhibition “Between Heaven and Earth”. This exhibition is also being held at the same time in Montpellier at the Musée Fabre. The 100 works presented mark 40 years of his work (paintings, drawings, scenographies, costumes). His physical and sensual work sings of nature… Prices from 5.30 to 9.90 €, free for – 10 ans.

Collective exhibition at “L’Olivier”
The establishment “L’Olivier” at 1, quai Aspirant-Herber is hosting until the end of September a group exhibition by Grâce Lawrence and her sensitive paintings; Pauline Dayot and her very sunny acrylic paintings; Mareen and her book about her hitchhiking boat trip; and a fine arts student, Cannelle Cohen.
