La zone de la Zifmar, à l'est, et les parkings du Lido, à l'ouest, devraient absorber le plus gros des véhicules pour Escale à Sète 2024.
With less than two months until Sète 2024, we know more about how the flow of visitors will be managed, i.e. nearly 440,000 visitors during the last edition in 2022. While some will favor the train to get there on the event dedicated to maritime heritage, the car remains the main means of transport for enthusiasts of old sailboats who will travel throughout the region, and even beyond.
7,000 free places at Zifmar
Good news for those arriving from the east, via Frontignan and Departmentales 600 and 612. Stopover in Sète and the Port Sud de France have renewed their partnership. The latter therefore makes the 18 hectares of Zifmar available from Tuesday March 26. An area capable of accommodating 7,000 vehicles, from which free shuttles will depart to take motorists to the Victory Bridge.
The lido is served by shuttles
Same pattern to the west, on the Agde and Marseillan Plage side, but only from Saturday to Monday. The car parks located along the Lido route, from that of Castellas, will be open and connected to the Théâtre de la Mer by free shuttles.
Finally, the other car parks in the city will remain open, in particular those of Cayenne and Mas Coulet which could be an option for vehicles arriving via the D2 from Balaruc and the Aquatechnique park.
