The Swedes suffered a second defeat in two days. This one is technical since the EHF decided not to follow up on the complaint made at the end of the semi-final lost to France.

"Non-Use of video"
The Scandinavians did not contest the goal scored by Elohim Prandi, but the "non-use of the video" to confirm or not its validity. "After a careful assessment of the situation, the panel determined that the use of video review (VR) technology is at the discretion of the arbitrators of the EHF and not an obligation.", concluded the European body.

And to continue: "VR is only used when the referees have serious doubts about making the right decision or when they are not able to visualize the situation correctly. C&# It is solely the decision of the referees or delegate whether or not to use the VR.
A conclusion which therefore makes Sweden's claim inadmissible and therefore ultimately rejected.
