The students were treated to a rowing across the pond. SEA HIGH SCHOOL

"This Singular Odyssey presents several objectives for us, explains the deputy director of the Lycée de la Mer Sophie Poch. This is an opportunity to marinate (accustom a crew to the sea, Editor’s note) young people who joined the establishment this year, but also to make them understand the environmental issues of our territory, even though some are not from the region. Finally, we work on cohesion and ;rsquo;integration based on local traditions."

On this aspect, the students were treated to a sports program, with rowing across the Thau pond and introduction to the tambourine. "For next year, we hope to be able to add them !" The project, financed by the Occitanie region, as part of its high school management competence, is part of the call for projects "Occit’Avenir – Positive energy high school" designed to promote education about the ecological and energy transition. "After a new application in July, we were selected among the ten winning high schools. We should therefore be able to sustain the Singular Odyssey at least until 2027!'
