Earvin Ngapeth, the star of the French volleyball team, the reigning double Olympic champion, has surprisingly signed with Poitiers, his favorite club, after 13 years abroad, the French team announced on Thursday.

“You're not dreaming… Earvin Ngapeth will be the 15th man in the colors of Alterna SPVB this season”, the club announced on its website. Ngapeth, 33, had been without a club since the end of May and the end of his contract with Halkbank Ankara.
