2024 energy check: bad news for the amount of this aid paid from next month

The energy check will soon come out. The Ministry of the Economy and Finance has indeed communicated on the dates. And the precious sesame will be distributed between April 2 and May 15 to approximately 5.6 million French people, whose reference tax income (RFR) is less than 11,000. euros per consumption unit.

But according to Moneyvox, bad news awaits the beneficiaries. In fact, we already know the amount of the check, which will be the same as last year: it will vary between 48 and 277 euros depending on the composition of the household and its income.

Thus, several associations are calling for an increase in the energy check. The CLCV, for example, proposed at the end of 2022 to triple its amount, with maximum aid of 600 euros.

The association considers that the different amounts of the energy check are insufficient given the general rise in prices.
