Edouard Philippe's Horizons party will present two candidates in the Gard department for these legislative elections.

The Horizons party will present two candidates in the Gard department for these legislative elections on June 30 and July 7. These are Sophie Pellegrin-Ponsole in the second constituency of Gard (south of the department) as well as Christian Baume, deputy mayor of Bagnols-sur-Cèze in the third constituency (Gard rhodanien).

Following this announcement, Yvan Lachaud, Horizons Gard representative, indicated that his party “must at the heart of the new parliamentary majority, around a certain number of values ​​on which we will not compromise: the conviction that France must reform itself profoundly, the return to order, in the accounts and in the street, the priority given to school, the conviction that the European Union is part of the solution and not a problem, respect for the values ​​of secularism, the fight against anti-Semitism and political Islam”.
