Ils ont été battus sur la fin par le Britannique Finlay Graham, samedi 7 septembre.

French para-cyclists Thomas Peyroton-Dartet and Alexandre Léauté won silver and bronze respectively in the C1-C3 road race at the Paralympic Games in Clichy-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) on Saturday. The two Frenchmen isolated themselves at the front with the Briton Finlay Graham and tried to get rid of him in the final stretches of the 71 km race.

But the double reigning world champion in the discipline won in the sprint ahead of Peyroton-Dartet, while Alexandre Léauté had been distanced a few hundred meters earlier, having to settle for third place. This race brings together runners with coordination and movement disorders from a low to a high level, and to varying degrees the absence of limbs.

Fourth medal for Léauté

This is the fourth medal during these Games for Léauté (C2), already crowned twice on the track and in the road time trial. Peyroton-Dartet (C3) had pocketed the gold medal in his category, also in the time trial.
