Since Emmanuel Macron suggested that Aya NAkamura could sing Édith Piaf during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the controversy has continued. So much so that according to a survey, nearly 63% of French people would not want the star for the ceremony and even suggested other names.

Her presence has not even been made official yet as singer Aya Nakamura already finds herself in a controversy despite herself. The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron would have asked the French RnB star to sing Édith Piaf during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

And this choice would not please a majority of French people, according to an Odoxa Winamax RTL survey. In fact, 63% of French people would not like a performance by the singer during the ceremony, reports La Dépêche.&nbsp ;39% of them even believe that it is a very bad idea.

73% believe that Aya Nakamura does not represent France

What are the reasons ? 73% explain that they do not like her songs and that she does not represent France while 60% believe that it does not represent youth.

The people surveyed, also asked about personalities who could replace the interpreter of "Djadja", do not lack imagination& ;nbsp;: They would like to see Jean-Jacques Goldman at 26%, Florent Pagny at 25%, Vianney at 20%, Soprano at 16%, Louane, David Guetta and Grand Corps Malade at 15%, Mylène Farmer at 14%, Clara Luciani at 13% and finally Daft Punk and Michel Sardou at 12%.
