Pour cette 17e journée de Ligue féminine, le BLMA a réussi le gros coup en battant Basket Landes (77-72), après prolongations. Une victoire qui permet aux Héraultaises de croire encore au top 4.

A real battle. Author of a match full of courage, the BLMA brought down Basket Landes after overtime (77-72) in a Palais des sports in turmoil.

With a narrow fourth quarter and overtime (27-18), Lattes-Montpellier, deprived of several senior players (Linskens, Jenkins), finally took the upper hand over a Landes team that was too clumsy with 24 lost balloons.

From the first half, BLMA competed perfectly with Basket Landes (35-35). A start to the match with the floor on the ground (10-1, 4th) then a big hole (16-26, 13th) before finally picking up again just as we were going to the locker room (35-35, 20th), such was the scenario of the first act for the Héraultaises.  Élodie Naigre (10 pts, 16 in total) and Garance Rabot (11 pts, 22 in total) left the BLMA in the game thanks to great activity on the field (15 shots between them, 27 in total). Opposite, Samantha Fuering posed problems for the Lattoises in the paint (8 pts, 4 rbs), well accompanied by Ewodo (7 pts). But the Lattoises' extra energy in overtime made the difference.
