The commentator of rugby matches on France Télévisions recounted the hours which preceded his amputation. aimed at ending his cancer.
Last June, the voice of rugby on France Télévisions had to have one of his legs amputated due to cancer affecting his right knee. Since then, Matthieu Lartot has learned to live again and has even resumed his duties.

"I knew I was coming back"
"They put their lives on hold for two years when I was a teenager. They traveled 140 kilometers every day to be by my side. My family, in general, I owe them a lot,” he adds. Still on the subject of his operation, Matthieu Lartot says that his job undoubtedly helped him get through this ordeal in a "lighter way" ;. "I knew I was going to get back to what makes me tick.

A few hours before the amputation, I arrived at the clinic with my daughter, we played a game of Yams. A pretty magical father-daughter moment. She was extraordinary, my son too. I am aware that I have a great team around me."
