Cap d'Agde: former rugby player Jean-Pierre Rives will exhibit his paintings at the Palais des Congrès

The artist presents his Coq'olympic" series, available in around fifteen paintings. To which will be added sixteen geometric paintings recently painted by the former captain of the XV of France.

We obviously know the rugby player, emblematic captain of the French XV, courageous 3rd row winner of two Grand Slams, but Jean-Pierre Rives has also been an internationally recognized artist for many years now, thanks to notably to his monumental steel sculptures, but not only.

“Coq’olympic”, this is the theme of the exhibition that Jean-Pierre Rives will present from July 17 to August 31, at the Palais des Cap d’Agde Congress. A series of 17 paintings around the rooster and its symbolism, as well as 16 geometric paintings created very recently. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday July 25 at 7 p.m., in the presence of the artist.
